Management Trainees - Rajarata Development Bank - Anuradhapura

Applications are invited from persons possessing the following qualifications to be recruited for the above-mentioned Posts in the Rajarata Development Bank which is a fully owned State Bank functioning in the North Central Province.

1. General Conditions:
1.1 Should be a permanent resident of the North Central Province and that should be for a minimum period of 10 years.
1.2 Should be able to serve at any of our branches, in any area.
1.3 Should not be over 26 years of age as at 01st August 2009 and should be a person of sound health.

2. Educational Qualifications:
2.1 Should have obtained a Special Degree with a Class (with a 04-year course) in one subject from among Management (State/ Business Administration), Accountancy, Commerce, Human Resources Management, Banking & Financial Matters, Economics/ Agricultural Economics from a reputed university.
or
2.2 Passed final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sri Lanka.

3. Method of Application:
3.1 Application forms should be obtained from the Head Office of the Rajarata Development Bank and the Polonnaruwa District office on payment of Rs.250/= per form and should fill it in own handwriting.
3.2 The receipt issued when obtaining the application should be annexed to the application when submitting
3.3 Copies of the relevant certificates in proof of educational and professional qualifications should be attached to the application.
3.4 Applicants fulfilling the educational qualification requirements will be referred to an interview.

4. Additional Qualifications:
4.1 Should be English and computer literate
4.2 Should compulsorily have a license to ride motorcycles

5. Method of Selection of suitable persons
5.1 Applicants with the highest qualifications will be selected on preference and will only be called for interviews.

As specially field work is involved, those having such experience will be given preference.
Those who gain highest remarks at the interview, will only be selected on the Bank’s requirements.

6. Closing date of Applications
Acceptance of applications will be closed on 10th September 2009. Applications received after this date will be rejected. Completed applications with the relevant copies of certificates should be sent by Registered Post to the undermentioned address. Incomplete and improper applications will not be entertained.
