A leading independent BOI approved company involved in manufacturing INDUSTRIAL RUBBER goods and other products for clients worldwide. We need talented and experienced persons in Polymer Science to join our team of professionals. The factory is located about 60 km from Colombo.
Requirements:
Graduate/ diploma holders in polymer science or equivalent. Ability to convey complex technical issues and bring considerable commercial attention to details with a highly organized and self motivated approach.
You should be thoroughly versed in rubber and allied materials processing and industrial rubber goods manufacturing.
You should have in depth knowledge of performance of various polymer properties, specifications and failure modes in various processing methods.
You will be fully responsible for the development of new formulas and products by keeping abreast of new market trends.
Ability to ensure the consistent quality of finished products as per laid down technical parameters.
Should have good organizational and leadership skills, communication and report writing skills.
Working experience in a solid tyre company is a definite advantage.
Experience:
Around 4-8yrs experience in a Research and Product Development environment.
