Quality Assurance Executive - YKK Lanka

YKK Group currently does business in more than 68 countries worldwide & it’s local operation at Seethawaka Industrial Park at Avissawella and head office is located in Colombo. To achieve our growth plan we wish to recruit experienced high caliber personnel’s who will join the growing force in YKK Lanka as a key player in the market. As a part of its Market Strategy we are looking forward above mentioned post at our factory at Seethawaka Industrial Park, Avissawella.

Job profile:

1. maintain quality of the all produced items within the group standard
2. responsible for obtaining international quality standard & work out its requirements
3. dealing with production staff, educate them on quality issues, and minimize reject ratio and customer complaints
4. testing, formulating reports & arranging samples for yearly testing and confirm unit weights
5. checking raw material, daily basis & complaint to the suppliers if any quality issues
6. handling customer complaints and take necessary corrective & preventive actions
7. introduction of quality inspection tools and improving quality standard and any other related duties assigned by the management, time to time
8. attending to group quality meetings and seminars overseas when it’s required

Skill profile:

1. You will be a qualified, academic with energy and enthusiasm. (A graduate or a Diploma holder in textile testing or quality assurance/ quality control)
2. Effective polite communication skills and sufficient presentation skills are also prerequisite.
3. Age preferably below 40 yrs.
4. Minimum 5 yrs of industrial experience will play a vital role in your selection process.
5. Strategically focused managerial ability with strong capabilities of labour controlling.
6. You must be a computer literate particularly with MS Office applications
