Systems Administrator- MonVia - MonVia

onVia is a cutting edge business and technology accelerator based in the Silicon Valley with subsidiaries in Sri Lanka and Romania. We are looking to fill the above key positions in our Sri Lanka Office.



Your chief responsibility will be the management of our corporate network which includes a high availability data center. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are necessary.


Responsibilities:

1. ensure that we meet client service level agreements
2. oversee network security
3. configure, deploy and support WAN/ LAN routers & switches including MPLS, site-to-site, VOIP and data center environments
4. troubleshoot network issues using network diagnostic tools
5. design and upgrade existing networks to meet company networking needs
6. assist in Active Directory, Exchange and backup administration
7. provide documentation and training expertise

Qualifications:

1. IT degree with 3yrs related experience
2. minimum of 1yr experience in networking with Cisco devices
3. strong knowledge of TCP/ IP, DNS, DHCP, OSI model, IPSec, GRE, site-to-site VPNs and remote access VPNs
4. hands-on expertise with Cisco routers, PIX firewalls and catalyst switches
5. familiarity with Active Directory and Exchange administration
6. strong Linux skills
7. familiarity with Windows, UNIX and Microsoft SQL
