Candidate Responsibilities
* Optimization of the website, including optimizing current web page designs and working with the development team on projects that are being developed or planned.
* Working with the Editorial team on content development.
* Link building.
* Keyword research.
* Competitor analysis.
* Monitoring on search engine ranking
* Driving and improving traffic to the web properties using SEO methods
* Keeping up to date on the latest SEO trends and changes
Skills Required
* A minimum of 1 year’s full time SEO experience for a medium to large size company, or equivalent freelance work.
* A documented, proven track record for driving traffic
* Knowledge of white hat SEO methods and best practices
* Knowledge and understanding of current search engine algorithms/methods
* Basic programming and web design knowledge, and how it effects SEO
* Advanced understanding of how websites work
